A phrase, which is derogatory/harmful in nature, even if not intended but the user, is still harmful. I’d like to add - Any form of communication which in nature is harmful or derogatory, complying with the definition of hate speech as defined in the bill, shall not be permitted. Punishment is up to mod discretion and violators may be sued in court. Example: If i say a slur without intending to insult someone with it, the slur still carries incredible weight and brings harm to people, whether I intended to or not. In my definition of hate speech, “Aim” was meant to be used when defining language. Not a person’s personal intention. Someone’s intention is not possible to prove in court unless they say it. From now on, please consider the term “aim” as the inherent nature of said language.","proposer":"John Rock Brown","isPassed":0,"isConsidered":0,"isEnforced":0,"notes":"","isRepealed":0,"created_at":"2026-05-24 13:07:06","curratedText":"","isRejected":null,"isUnsure":null,"ogUrl":"https://www.reddit.com/r/TeenGovernment/comments/1tg1qpa/add_to_reworked_rule_1","ogUser":"3p145","apUrl":"TAG","apUser":"","status":"Passed","ogCreatedUtc":1779051723,"billIdentifier":"20260517-6"}
