My idea is that the Minister of Grammar has the role of reviewing published documents of this subreddit and fixing any and all grammar mistakes made within said documents. The Minister of Grammar would have the power to: \r\n\r\n* Refine grammar of published documents\r\n* Revise documents before they have been published\r\n* and any other powers that have been decided upon by the members of the subreddit and the Council/President\r\n\r\nThe Minister of Grammar does not have the power to:\r\n\r\n* Modify the wording of documents to convey a different meaning than was originally intended by the government and author of said documents\r\n* Completely or partially omit or add sections, amendments, and articles without explicit permission given by the council\r\n* Completely rewrite existing documents, when editing is considered a valid option, unless given explicit permission to fully or partially rewrite the documents being discussed\r\n* among any other rules we set into place\r\n\r\nThe Minister of Grammar should perform any and all edits on a Reddit post, on Google Docs, or any other applicable writing software that fully serves their editorial purposes. Once a document has been edited, they are to send the edited version to the council for review, which is for making sure the Minister does not overstep their boundaries or perform an action that is above their station. \r\n\r\nIn short, I propose the Minister of Grammar should be a role that should be considered, and the Minister’s job is to edit the grammar and spelling of documents when necessary.\r\n\r\n  \r\nThank you for reading my post about adding a Minister of Grammar for r/TeenGovernment! I hope you take this concept into consideration and think about the benefits of adding this role to the community. Also, please tell me if you think there are any major powers or anything else I should add to this post!\r\n\r\nSincerely,  \r\nu/KingMega10","proposer":"John Rock Brown","isPassed":0,"isConsidered":0,"isEnforced":0,"notes":null,"isRepealed":0,"created_at":"2026-06-12 21:58:19","curratedText":null,"isRejected":null,"isUnsure":null,"ogUrl":"https://www.reddit.com/r/TeenGovernment/comments/1u3jd22/suggestion_minister_of_grammar_role_concept","ogUser":"KingMega10","apUrl":null,"apUser":null,"status":"Proposed","ogCreatedUtc":1781232958,"billIdentifier":"20260612-1"}
