{"id":718,"name":"Treaty of Teen Government and The Union of Reddit","summary":"20th of June, 2026, The Treaty of Teen Government and the Union of Reddit comes into full effect\r\n\r\nThis was signed by\r\n\r\nthe Prime Minister of the Union of Reddit\r\n\r\nPresident of Teen Government\r\n...","raw_contents":"20th of June, 2026, The Treaty of Teen Government and the Union of Reddit comes into full effect\r\n\r\nThis was signed by\r\n\r\nthe Prime Minister of the Union of Reddit\r\n\r\nPresident of Teen Government\r\n\r\nForeign Minister of the Union of Reddit\r\n\r\nForeign Minister of Teen Government\r\n\r\nThe treaty is pasted below,\r\n\r\n***Treaty of Teen Government and The Union of Reddit***\r\n\r\nWithin this treaty, the Union of Reddit and Teen Government shall be referred to as the Parties, hereinafter.\r\n\r\nA Pol Sim, hereinafter, shall be known as a Political Simulator, whilst a valid Pol Sim is defined as an officially recognized Political Simulator by both Parties.\r\n\r\nDiplomatic Relations, hereinafter, are to be defined as formal interactions between two valid or otherwise recognized Political Simulators, established on Mutual consent.\r\n\r\nThe Officially Recognized Diplomatic Server is hereinafter defined as the official Discord server for the Union Of Reddit and Teen Government Diplomacy.\r\n\r\nA Judiciary Prison Sentence is a sentence officially given to a defendant, which prohibits them from being within any official server.\r\n\r\n**Article I. Mutual Recognition and Treatment.**\r\n\r\nBoth Parties shall recognize one another as valid Pol Sims, and shan’t remove this recognition, unless a case in which this treaty is voided.\r\n\r\nBoth Parties Government Office’s shan’t treat each other with unwarranted aggression or mistreatment without valid reasoning or previous intentional aggravation.\r\n\r\n**Article II. Diplomacy**\r\n\r\nBoth Parties will maintain proper diplomatic relations, maintained and ensured by an Officially Recognized Diplomatic Discord Server, whose entrance shall only be approved for Foreign Affairs officers, and any individual necessary for proper communications, all must be approved by the President of Teen Government, Foreign Affairs Minister, The Press Minister of both Parties, and the Prime Minister of the Union of Reddit, of which the listed positions are immediately given access and authority to free access within the server, until the conclusion of their proper \r\n\r\nBoth Parties shall respect the diplomatic relations within the Officially Recognized Discord Server, and all treaties signed upon within this shall be respected by the Government and both Parties as law.\r\n\r\n**Article III: Interference.**\r\n\r\nBoth Parties shan’t interfere within the following affairs of the other nation, via fraud, coercion, or any other means, excluding valid votes, or in the case of a treaty between both Parties outright states allowance. \r\n\r\n(a) Elections  \r\n(b) Referendums  \r\n(c) Foreign Affairs with other nations   \r\n(d) War (unless in the case of aid)\r\n\r\n**Article IV: Harboring.**\r\n\r\nNeither Party shall harbor a criminal, banned from one of the servers, or currently serving a Judiciary Prison Sentence, within either Party's Discord Servers.\r\n\r\nIn the case of a report, if an individual banned within one of the Parties is currently residing within the other, they may request an immediate removal (banning) from that and all related servers; any individual may demand a Moderator to remove them.\r\n\r\nEither party may refuse a request to ban an individual demanded for a ban, yet written reasoning must be provided on the refusal\r\n\r\n**Article V: Amending**\r\n\r\nEither party may amend this treaty via requesting a change and a supermajority agreement of all positions required (Teen Government’s President, and Foreign Minister, and The Union of Reddit’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister).\r\n\r\nAll amendments to this treaty shall be publicly announced and are to be considered binding.\r\n\r\n**Article VI: Withdrawal**\r\n\r\nEither party may withdraw from this treaty, yet doing so must fulfill the following term\r\n\r\nThe party attempting to exit must provide a warning, a minimum of 14 days before they may legally exit, via written notice \r\n\r\nOnce either party exits, this treaty is considered nullified. \r\n\r\n**Article VII: Enactment**\r\n\r\nOnce signed by all appropriate bodies, as set in the segment following, this shall come into effect immediately.\r\n\r\nPRIME MINISTER OF THE UNION OF REDDIT: u/These-Instruction677\r\n\r\nPRESIDENT OF TEEN GOVERNMENT: u/Trickster-123\r\n\r\nFOREIGN MINISTER OF THE UNION OF REDDIT: u/Voidsterr\r\n\r\nFOREIGN MINISTER OF TEEN GOVERNMENT: u/heavy_stomach_7633","proposer":"Zeedith","isPassed":0,"isConsidered":0,"isEnforced":0,"notes":null,"isRepealed":0,"created_at":"2026-07-17 17:47:52","curratedText":null,"isRejected":null,"isUnsure":null,"ogUrl":"https://www.reddit.com/r/TeenGovernment/comments/1uap1bn/treaty_of_teen_government_and_the_union_of_reddit","ogUser":"Trickster-123","apUrl":null,"apUser":null,"status":"Passed","ogCreatedUtc":1781936099,"billIdentifier":"20260620-2","type":"executive/presidential-decree"}
